Honda riding assist concept

This is a self-balancing powered two wheeled vehicle, not a motorcycle.  :goofy:

I'm all for it as long as no overzealous legislator forces me to ride that thing. I like my bikes to fall over if I don't do my part.  :laugh:

To me the scary part is the fact that the handlebars can be disconnected from the front forks. That seems like a seriously bad idea. It's interesting as a concept, but in real life would be nearly useless. It would only work as long as the bike was perfectly upright, as soon as the bike moved from straight up and down there is nothing to keep it from falling on over. Looks like a "proof of concept" type thing.
