Actually took a couple days off this weekend.
Been out of the saddle since September, picked my bike up last Saturday in Toronto and my first ride of the year was 4 hours on a bike type I'm not used to.
My right hand was left unable to pinch and I wasn't able to put my fingers together if they were straight (could still when they were a fist).
Still rode all week as the bike is my commuter, and my wife takes the car now. It was a rainy weekend and I used that as an excuse to put her away for a couple days.
Hand is feeling better but not 100%. Fine movements like using chopsticks , writing my name and twirling spaghetti on a fork are exercises in frustration.
I've been very very careful this past week to avoid putting weight on my wrists when riding. Gotta work them core and leg muscles.
In the end I'm stoked that this is not only fun and transport but a great workout machine as well.
