There is a bunch of starting From The BC/Wash border and making our way down thru the cascades/ Levenworth/Yakama Canyou/ Hood River/ Sisters-Bend/ Over to the coast/back up to Troutdale Or.
If anybody is interested in tagging along there will be a of bikes but mostly VFR's I can send you info if you wanted to look at it. PM me.
We are crossing the BC border on July 19th if anybody wants to catch up to us or meet us on the way..

You're passing my neck of the woods between Bend and Eugene and then from the coast to Corvallis. When are you slated to pass through there? I could show up and distract the highway patrol for you ;)

I might be able to hang along for part of your Sunday on Hwy 34. My SO's mom is in town then so either I'll be told to disappear or I'll be obligated to "spend time with her".
FYI Hwy 126 from Springfield/Eugene to Florence is pretty heavily traveled on weekends and has a lot of highway traffic fine collectors in the area. If you want to add a few miles, take hwy 99 north out of Eugene to Hwy 36 (Triangle Lake Hwy) which ends down at Hwy 126 at Florence. Hwy 36 is a lot more fun and has less traffic.
Hwy 101 from Florence to Waldport is slow going, lots of weekender traffic. Hwy 34 from Waldport to Corvallis is LOTS of fun.

I'm seriously contemplating on carrying on after the official end of the trip at Edgefield, McMenamins in Troutdale the next day. I want to find new twisty roads to Baker City, about 6 hours ride, then the next day up the Hells Canyon Road to the dam and then back to Joseph, Ore, then home. I think Jim Landon is with me, anyone else want to join, please do, this will be some of the most excellent roads and scenery.
And, of course, there's a nice brew pub in Baker City."

Hope y'alls ride is going well so far. What day will you be in Troutdale? I might be able to meet up with you at the Edgefield. Unfortunately, I don't think I'm going to be able to join in on any day rides around here this time around. I've got too much going on right now. Weather has been really great this week, so good timing for the ride.
