Hey y'all-- My 90 VFR has an alarm installed. It doesn't have any markings on the box, so I have no idea what it is, but I'd like to remove it. Can anyone identify it? Can any electronics guru walk me through taking it out? Pics attached.

Alarms are generally a hassle to remove, because it seems no two were installed the same way, and quite often they were installed very badly. I think the only sure way is to carefully follow the alarm's wiring harness back through the bike, disconnecting each wire and repairing the wires as necessary. It could be a big job, depending on how thorough the installer was. There will almost surely be at least one place where the bike's original wiring has been interrupted--you'll have to determine which of the OEM wires need to be re-connected for the bike to run again. Apart from that, most of the connections will be wire taps into various circuits. Good luck.
