I looked around and couldn't find much on this subject so I thought I would post this picture of a tab I made to work with my seat cowl. It's just a piece of plastic I had laying around from some blinds I purchased and Gorilla clear epoxy. We'll see how long it holds.

The power of wind is pretty amazing, I would recommend you double reinforce it with a piece of plastic over it connecting to more of the factory cowl.

I like the idea though. I need to fix mine.
