Vfr1200f second gear upshift question

Hi,

When i upshift from 1st to 2nd it doesn’t go a “good” as the rest of the upshift. Its really hard to describe the feeling. It feels like doesn’t want to go and sometimes it seems to be forced. Like the the noise it makes, as if you try to upshift without the clutch lever. 
 

Is anyone else expriencing this?

That sounds normal, especially when the bike is cold. 

How long since you've changed the gear oil? 

Never. Ive had the for three months. 18k (km) on the ODO.

I'd change it and see if that solves the issue.  Simple solution if that's all it takes.
