A set of fairings have landed in my possession and I just wanted to pin down what they are.
I threw them on my 5th gen for a trial fit so don’t let that fool you.

Previous owner is adamant they’re off a VF1000, but I’m almost certain they’re not.
So I asked the previous-previous owner who thinks they’re off a 400cc machine. I’m not convinced although the VF400 Integra might be close.
Odds are it’s a VF500 although I’ve not seen that EXACT paint scheme on a 500 and the paint looks factory (except the Bel-Ray stickers!).
So what do you guys think?

In the US the VF500F did not come fully faired, so no side panels. Not sure what you guys got in UK for variants.
Found this on the web, it says its an aftermarket kit for the 500. Lockhart IIRC made a kit for the 500, pic looks very much like yours.

Apparently there was an FII fairing kit available from Honda for these bikes, I would look at the inside of the panels to see if there is a Honda part no.

You are correct, I've got 2 R's, those are not R fairings. The F's had no side panels.

The nose cone and and the side fairing with loads of stickers are from a UK 1986 VF500. The thing with a bel-ray sticker is from something else entirely. The the tail piece could be VF500, can't tell exactly.

I think Dutchy and jeremy62 have nailed the nose cone and side fairings. Jeremy62, thanks for the help with the tail. I couldn’t find a blue tail on any of the online photos of VF500s. Don’t the Bel-Ray bits form part of the tail fairing under the seat?
By the way Dutchy, that bike of yours is pure gorgeous. Good eye with your camera too!
FromMaine, thanks for your input. Looks like the fully faired version wasn’t released in the US (how odd?).
All the panels have OEM markings on the inside so I know they’re genuine Honda. The challenge was to find which one!
So what do you think of the VF cowl on a 5th gen? I’m toying with the idea of a retro sleeper...
You are right and I am incorrect. I assumed the bel ray bits were one piece but I see now they are the side panels. Safe to assume they are all from a VF500.
