panniers

hi, just bought set of panniers for my vfr 12oof and think i have put the lock in wrong any idea of how to remove it ,thanks.

The 7 and 8gen panniers are the same I believe.

Some time back I needed to remove the internal panel to access a stone that jammed my locking handle. Can't guarantee it, but removing the internal panel may be your only way to access the lock barrel. I needed a T20 Torx key and a 4mm Allen key. Other than that a good locksmith or even Honda customer service may be able to advise.

Either way you'll probably need to be able to access the spring loaded stopper tumbler to press it in to allow the barrel to be removed from its locked position.

Are you sure it's in the wrong way or just not fully seated? Looking at my own barrel install instructions I can't really see how you could insert it a wrong way!

after going on you tube and watched a video i managed to release the stopper in the barrel and out popped the lock, thanks 👍
