All 17- Quick Poll: Are you using Chain Lube or Chain Paste? Chain wax on my ZRX. Basic lube seemed to leave tight links after 200 miles. Decent spray-on wax is way more than that, I do it when I think of it instead of when it gets dry.
- '93 won't rev past 5000rpms 3 hours ago, Lorne Hot start troubles, and needing to open the throttle for starting seems to indicate an overly rich condition. Hmm, the routing of your throttle cables looks completely wrong. The bracket should locate…
- '93 won't rev past 5000rpms Another question because the bike is stored an hour away and I can't mess with it right this second. The previous owner rigged up this very innovative pinch bolt setup for one of the throttle cables. Is the cable that…
- '93 won't rev past 5000rpms Howdy, Thanks for all the suggestions. The plugs looked old but not terrible, maybe a little dark/rich. Fuel filter is new. Air filter will be cleaned and oiled (K&N). Sub air cleaner is intact. I have the carbs pulled…
- '93 won't rev past 5000rpms Hi all, Looking for some help. I was out for a ride last week and had trouble starting after filling up with gas. I had been dealing with a hot start issue (starter clutch) for a while, so I thought it finally gave up…
- Revival Of A Gen 3 Nice! I'm doing the same this winter with my '93 (along with some other repairs). I can't decide if I want to work out a RWB scheme or just go pearl white with the original decals. I suppose I'll wait and see how yours…
- VFR800 vs other lightweight ST's If you like the old style UJM and want to be upright in your riding w/practically no weight on your wrists yet still have a sporty composure, then the ZRX is your bike. Honestly, I love my ZRX & in a perfect world, I'd…
- VFR800 vs other lightweight ST's I've always really liked the look of that ZRX. Comparing the ergonomics on that site makes it look pretty comfortable compared to my '93 (which isn't bad). 11 degree straighter back would sure be nice.
- How do you clean your wheels? Mr Clean Magic Erasers or equivalent products. I'm always a little surprised at how well these things clean grease and chain lube with just water, but I keep going back to them.
- Then and Now Images This has to be one of the coolest threads I've seen on any forum ever. Awesome idea and execution, thanks for these!
- Official Skidmarx Hugger Group Buy ***CLOSED*** Dang...I won't be able to afford one until August or so. Oh well, next time!
- Interest in Skidmarx Hugger group buy? Yeah, you should try to pry a list of 5 orders = $xxx each, 10 orders = $xxx each, and so on.
- Interest in Skidmarx Hugger group buy? Depending on the final price and when it would have to be paid for, I might be interested in a fiberglass for my 3rd gen.

- Motorcycle Video of the Day That was insanity. And this is a great idea for a thread.
- How High Have You Gone [fiction] After a few months of owning my '93, I was on a ride with my friend who was on a Hawk 650 (flaunting our swingarms). He passed me at maybe 110 or so coming up on a long, relatively safe downhill section of…
