- I always change my oil before I store my VFR for the winter except.... This past year I did not change the oil before storage due to unforeseen circumstances. Its been eating away at me all winter. LOL. I'm a little OCD when it comes to my machines. I will swap out the oil in the next few…
- What did you do to your VFR Today? I have my new JT sprockets arriving today with my DID 525 xring chain that i bought over a year ago waiting their arrival. I have 32,000kms on my VFR. Sprockets still look good but as they say sprockets and chain at the…

- Considering a VFR... help One last thing. I met Freddie Spencer in person at a motorcycle show before Covid. We had a great convo and he luved the fact i was riding a RWB VFR 800 25th. I told him I always pretended I was him when I attack the…
- Considering a VFR... help Arguably one of the best motorcycles ever made. I never thought an 11.3 sec quarter mile time was slow or 0-100 mph in 7.5 sec. (Cycle World Test) The engine is so refined and the quality of assembly is so above most…

- Toronto Motorcycle Show 2024 Well, the motorcycle show is here in Toronto this weekend. Debating on whether to go or not. Do I waste $20 on parking and $22 to get in. I always leave disappointed. But since I'm a gear head I need my fix of being…
- 2015 Heated Grips Great points by GRUM. Too bad you do not have the OEM screen and exhaust. May I add that the VFR logo on the upper portion of the fairing is not OEM as well. Can't tell but DB killer on sc project slipon may have been…

- 2024 XSR 900 GP I did a little photoshop work. Does this look a little better with some strategically placed decals.
- 2024 XSR 900 GP I with Captain 80s. Damn that tail looks odd though. But maybe bikes are looking so bad these days with all black or gray colorways the second i see anything with an 80 or 90s paint scheme its looks so good. Keep in…
- 2024 XSR 900 GP Is anybody liking this newly released XSR by Yamaha with late 80's GP bike retro look and gorgeous paint scheme. Wish tail was a little less boxy but other than its pretty nice. I think I would buy one. 117.4 hp CP3…

- Last of V4 Sport Tourers 11 hours ago, VifferJ I think only the 2014 & 2015 years of the 8th gen were sold in the US, is it the same for Canada or did you guys get additional years of the 8th gen up north? Just 2014 and 2015 here in Canada. A…

- Winter project: Wheels are going white ala 93 VFR 750 Well, after much humming and hawing the wheels are going to be powder coated white. Pearl white to match the bike. They will be powder coated as well as clear coated. Scheduled in about 4 weeks. Missed the white wheels…
- Quick Poll: Are you using Chain Lube or Chain Paste? I've been using Motul chain lube since my dearly departed RWB. I've continued the same with my 8th gen VFR. I've pondered shifting to chain paste but wonder if the paste can penetrate as well as the lube. I use Motul…
- I sold my panniers: Buyer wants to make a duplicate of my ignition key. Thanks to everyone who chimed in. I'll be a good samaritine and meet him at the local Homehardware near my house and we'll exchange the bags there and he can make a duplicate key with his blank.

- 8th gen Coolant: What are you using? Thanks everyone for your comments. I will stick with the Type 2 Coolant from Honda. (Blue) I think its even cheaper when you buy from an auto dealership or possibly online than a motorcycle dealer. Ride Safe.
- 8th gen Coolant: What are you using? I plan on a coolant change in spring. On my 6th gen RWB I used Honda Coolant that I bought at the Honda motorcycle dealer. It was Blue. Can't remember if it was labelled type 2. I assume that is the same as the Honda…

- Maybe sport tourers are not Dead? Lets not forget about Moto Guzzi which just threw its hat in.
- Maybe sport tourers are not Dead? I think I would prefer the bars a tad lower a la VFR. Colors are underwhelming, maybe a silver or even white would have been nice. Interesting machine though.
