Last 50 of 61- 750 flat spot I had similar problems after I cleaned and oiled my K&N filter. I used too much oil and the filter became restrictive. Took awhile to figure that one out.
- Carburetor compression spring I am pretty sure that the kitten left it there while you were posting your message to VFRD
- Double checking - 4th Gen rear axle assembly You can Download the Honda Service manual here: Pages 13-3 and 13-4 in the Honda Service manual will show the rear axle. I think that it is item 14 in your Clymer manual, labeled "dust seal"
- Seat cowl lug repair If you still have the lug, I would glue it back with ABS glue and then use something like Plastifix to reinforce the joint. The bodywork is made of ABS and ABS glue is just ABS dissolved in a solvent.
- What's bolted to the back off the footage mount? Does it look like #12 in this picture? Partzilla lists it as: WEIGHT, L. STEP, 50703-MT4-000
- Gear Indicator 2 hours ago, raYzerman I don't know what you have on the 750, but the Gen5 has a removable cover on either side above the dash (hides windshield attachments). I made an angle bracket, attached with one screw plus 3M…
- Gear Indicator 7 hours ago, scottbott [image: IMG_1354.thumb.jpg.8196d776c442d443390c928785982bda.jpg] Your mounting bracket reminds me of the one TriumphTraitor made for 6th gens. I am curious about how you mounted that bracket.
- Clutchin ain’t EZ The outer clutch basket is driven by the engine and the inner clutch basket is connected to the transmission. With the clutch disks removed, the inner basket should spin freely when in neutral should spin with the rear…
- Carb Gurus - Question on Choke (enrichment) passages Since you have the carbs upside down on the bench, have you tried letting some carb cleaner soak the jets overnight? Maybe slip a short clear tube over the jet and fill it up with carb cleaner to give it a good soak.
- Adhesive for repairing ABS fairing material on 1993 ver 750 In the US, glue for ABS pipe that you can buy at the home store is ABS dissolved in Methyl Ethyl Ketone and Acetone. Edited December 23, 2020 by COS_VFR left out a word

- Side Stand 1 hour ago, Cogswell When I was in Australia, my driving routine was to come to an intersection and signal a turn with my windshield wipers I completely understand, while in Australia, every time I signaled a turn with…
- These bikes aren't getting any younger... If you go through the trouble to replace the coolant hoses under the carbs, I would replace the o-rings and gaskets on the pipes.
- Pair valve delete kit These are the one I bought for my 4th gen. https://www.bellissimoto.com/parts/engine/emissions-removal/tpo-emissions-pair-system-removal-kit-for-vfr750-1 Be sure to make sure that there are 4 plates instead of the…
- Rescuing a '92 VFR750F 2 hours ago, damionj It was just an operational check. Making sure the starter and electronics were working. The air box arrived. Of course, it’s missing a hose connector. I’m modeling and 3D printing a new one. Should…
- Rescuing a '92 VFR750F I think the first thing that I would do is get a shop vac and suck as much dirt out of the carbs, and intake ports as possible. I wouldn't even try and turn the crank until as much dirt as possible is pulled from the…
- Rescuing a '92 VFR750F 21 minutes ago, damionj [image: 20200918_170029044_iOS.thumb.jpg.850e1a9af433ddc69c15f79d4ef38c73.jpg] Was the airbox attached to the carbs??
- Motorcycle not accelerating properly in high RPMs. It sounds like the clutch is slipping. When this happened to me a couple of years ago, it was a clogged return port in the master cylinder. There is a small whole in the master cylinder under a small stamped…
- Saving topic discussion threads I am not sure what browser you are using, but in Chrome you can right click and pick the "save as" option. It will save a "html file" and a folder with additional files. The problem is threads that have more than one…
- 12v Power outlet plug mount/USB mount Rescue119, I am curious to know how visible the voltmeter is in the sunlight. I have a meter that looks similar to the one Marooncobra has and it was hard to read in the sun.
- 1995 - Stops charging when warm When you mention the frame getting hot, are you talking about the subframe where the Regulator is mounted? If it is too hot to touch, it sounds like the regulator is sinking too much current and getting too hot. I…
- 1995 - Stops charging when warm The wiring harness has a ground point on the right side of the frame not too far from the stator plug. The ground from the battery is connected on the left side of the bike near the front of the motor. Check out page…
- 2 caps screwed on the right side, mid fairing? I assume that based on the last picture, you are asking about the Oil Filler Cap and the Oil Dipstick.
- carb cleaning on the bike? The photo is on VFRD, but hard to find. When I am searching for pictures on VFRD I use google and the site: option, like this: site: www.vfrdiscussion.com carb Then pick images at the top of the page that google…
- carb cleaning on the bike? If you take a look at this picture, I think that #10 and #12 are between the throttle linkages. I drew an arrow pointing to the one on the right. The one on the left is hidden in this picture. [image: carbs.png]
- carb cleaning on the bike? Its hard to tell how big it is, but there are some springs between the throttle linkages, look at #10 and #12 on this picture. [image: Capture.PNG]
- GIVI Cases?? Givi case are part of a system. I have a wingrack which is a MonoKey system, so any Monokey case will fit my rack. I can even fit the side case on top, or the top case on the side, although it will look kinda funny if I…
- GIVI Cases?? Lanny, I have a V46 topcase and two E41 sidecases on my '96. [image: Both.jpg] [image: E41_side.jpg] [image: V46.jpeg] [image: E41.jpg]
- 4th gen Carb Vacuum Pistons Group Buy OI don't know if this helps, but looking at Partzilla, part number 16111-MZ1-000 is the vacuum, pistion for the '94-'97 VFR750F and '94-'95 CB1000A.
- 4th gen Carb Vacuum Pistons Group Buy Yoshi, I am currently in for 1, increase it to 2.
- Mystery fork caps There are spacers under the handle bars to raise them up a bit. There are tubes added to hide the fact that the handlebars have been raised and the caps cover the tubes. You should be able to get a utility knife under…
- 4th gen Carb Vacuum Pistons Group Buy YoshiHNS, Count me in for one (1) set.
- 2018 VFRD SUMSUM 4 Rangemaster and I made it across Nebraska and most of East Colorado, parting ways at 2:40p in Limon, CO. I just rolled into the garage at 4p. Tony was right it was a great event.
- 2018 VFRD SUMSUM 4 And as one cancels , another one finally gets off the fence and confirms. Brenda tells me that the Rocket Motel has one Queen room left and two family rooms left if anyone else is out there trying to decide.
- RC36.2 (4th Gen) Fuel Injection discussion I stumbled across this NC30 Fuel injection project: https://blog.familjenjonsson.org/blog/2015/05/22/microsquirting-the-nc30-part-1-of-many/ A long but detailed account. -Gordon
- vibration-proof grips Have you considered heavier bar ends, some people think that it reduces the vibration. Others think that it just changes the frequency, either one might help your problem.
- Quick question I had good luck with these: https://tpoparts.com/cat093/index.php?route=product/product&keyword=S-0062&category_id=0&product_id=53 Can't remember if the rubber caps that they included fit the airbox though.
- Removing coke plunger I think the choke linkage comes of the 4th Gen carbs relatively easy, but it's been over a year since I had them apart and I did a complete teardown.
- Removing coke plunger It has been awhile since I had the carbs apart on my 4 Gen, but I think i just unscrewed the black nut.
- Someone help? Have you checked to make sure that the filler cap vent is not clogged? If you can run it again until it loses power, then open the filler cap and see if it runs better before it cools down.
- 4th Gen Fork Flex 40 minutes ago, Lannyl81 I read from past postings that someone made a fork brace for the VFR....but that was quite some time ago and in doing a search I found none to fit my '97. I will search ebay every so often just…

- 4Th Gen Hesitation At 4K Does it hesitate in each gear? I guess I hit post before I answered that. It hesitates/surges in multiple gears, not just 1st, but I don't think that I have tried all 6.
- 4Th Gen Hesitation At 4K Does it hesitate in each gear? In my test rides since I first noticed the issue don't think I have tried past 3rd. Perhaps surging is a better description. When I roll on the throttle at about 4k it feels like 1 or 2…
- 4Th Gen Hesitation At 4K But when I accelerate under load, once I get to about 4k, there is hesitation as if it is only running on 2-3 cylinders. This!! You should be only under 4k in first gear, sometimes second in the local suburbs. After…
- 4Th Gen Hesitation At 4K I am running out of Ideas trying to solve a hesitation problem with my '96. It idles fine and comes off choke very quickly. In neutral, not under load it revs easily. But when I accelerate under load, once I get to…
