wow i like the pipes but to be honest DAMN the flat black and yellow interceptor sticker are totally sweet!!!! is that stock on the new VFR's? now that i think about it those pipes kind of look like the pipe off my 86 Honda Magna i had years ago...ahhh the memories
HOLY SMOKIN JOE! Now tHAt is differnt! Pic #9 in my favorite..........would be like pulling up behind a gatllin gun! This must have been a ton of work!?? Have you riden it yet? Sure reminds me od the early super bike wars :D
The Bike looks great with the pipes and the color with sticker is also one of a kind. But I also thought the homemade stand was real nice to have so you can work on the bike at a better height. Sweet!
That stand cost about 125.00 to build and what a smart investment. Makes oil changes a breeze. Getting all four of those pipes to remotely line up was a lot of work. GOD they sound good! Laser's are made in the Netherlands and the craftsmanship that went into them is unreal. Laser's are a tinkerer's dream.
Awesome! The first time I saw Lasers I didn't like them all that much, but I've grown to love the way they look. Looking foward to many more pics of your bike!
BTW, What's the best price anyone has seen on Lasers?
That's a wild looking set-up! Really makes the bike look different from any 6th gen I've seen. Now if you only had my 5th gen, you could have the turbine whine to go with your rocket launcher :-)
WOW!! They look a little different than the other pics of lasers I've seen before. You've now got a "ring" around where the others have a weld on the pipes. Looks much better this way. They also look different at the tips of the end of the pipes. Is this some newer version?
Looks great, always liked the look of the lasers over the staintunes that I have. Does anyone know if the honda side bag brackets will fit over the lasers?
wow... :o pretty awesome looking. I'd love to get a setup like that for my bike... please pose some more pics (daylight profile specifically) and a sound clip WOULD be nice :)

Sweet and I love mine too, get comments on them all the time...is that a MV or what ? My wife's 01 Magna has 4 pipes also and they sure look good together. Just think that's a V8 and 8 pipes, like having 4 freaking Harleys ! :)
I would like to say first those pipes do look good. However, I really don't care much for how my pipes look or sound like. I want the best performance pipes. Does any body know which pipes actually give you the most increase in HP and wich ones are the lighest. Not wich ones look the best or are the shiniest or the loudest but the ones that will give me more BHP! Don't get me wrong I did not buy this bike for the HP (If i wanted that would have bought a BUSA) but I just don't see the point of spending a almost a thousand dollars on pipe for the look or the sound. Does any one see my point? <_<
Give up on the VFR and buy a CBR1000RR for a REAL increase in power. Seriously, what do you hope to gain ? 2-4 HP ? Slip on's are for looks and sound Bro, you want more power, try a bigger bike.

I don't want a bigger bike I like the VFR. I just would like to know wich set of pipes will give me the best increase in BHP.
I rode it for the first time yesterday with the Lasers and the sound is awesome! I got a lot of looks too. Those reasons alone were worth the price of admission. I think there was a 2hp gain with these pipes. It feels quicker to me but in my opinion all slipons are about the same in HP gain. I dont care at all about HP anyway, my bike looks fast and to me that's all that matters. :wheel:

I have Migs (shut up Richie :P )and they claim a 5-7 hp increase. I haven't gotten it to the dyno yet but plan to soon. The down side is that they are now out of business and the pipes are no longer available. I found the last two sets in the world, I got one set and Fixer got the other set. You might be able to find a used set.

ScootR, I never would have thought of putting white accents on a red VFR, but it totally rocks with the pipes and (guessing) custom wheel.
would love to hear them.. I'd like to hear any VFR with custom pipes/cans :music:
Your lasers look slightly different then mine and I got mine at FosterRad last year. Mine is the race version. Is that the street version? The top two pipes look like they have an insert or something. All four of my pipes have no inserts like the bottom two of yours.
Mine are the new DuoSound Technology pipes. I can adjust the sound level according to different laws, countries, etc. The top pipes only flow about 20% of the total exhaust volume anyway. I talked to Robert Foster at Fosterrad about it and he said that the version 1, which you have, and version 2, which I have flow the same. All four pipes are straight thru, no inserts, the top pipes are just made that way.

Thanks man, my wife did all that, Tapeworks and have their white piece on front but not all of it just like the rear. The wheel I just stripped the paint, factory polish underneath. Had to take them to work and bead blast the spokes to get paint of rough grain sections BTW. That's a Thurn center hub cover ala NR750 look and it was polished too and had custom circular "HONDA, VFR, and V4 VTEC" decals made for it. Trying to decide what decals, color and qty I want for the rims now from Tapeworks, the RADS, did you see that post ? Pretty cool. Lasers are great, had Staintunes for a couple of years but MV lust over came me. And Thank you Robert @ FosterRad, got mine there !
