OMG, that's nice, I gotta have one !!!!
#5
I just bought one from them on ebay, its pretty descent. Easy to install(err) and its made by some company from europe I think. Threw the package away, sorry.
#6
I found them, don't know who makes these buy there is more and Buy it now option, only $18.95 ! Thanks Bro I owe you, this is great.
#7
That's nice... It goes on my list of things to get, for sure. Mind you, it won't make my bike go faster, won't make it more comfortable for LD riding, but I got to have one of these nevertheless!
#8
Sweet! Looks nice and the price is right. Must have one.
#9
Yep, my yoke is all scewed up and that's no yoke ! Nice find Bro as I only wanted one that didn't cover the square Honda emblem. Me likey decals AND emblems, ask HS and Ulewz about that. I caught hell 2 years ago when VTEC 1st came out about yoke protectors, they told me to just make my own ! The emblem hole is great and the VFR logo is icing on the cake IMHO. I owe you a qt of oil or something for this.

Please post what the seller replies. I want one too, but there isn't another one listed on their online store. :( Maybe they just haven't put a replacement on yet.

Did anyone else that bought one off of ebay get this message from the seller?

Hello:

I am sorry to say that the auction you won may have contained errors in regard to what years & models the key guard will fit.

So we can be sure to ship you the correct item, please email me back with your exact year and model.

I am sincerely sorry for this delay and inconvenience.

Thank you.

I am such a dumb a$$. :joystick: I ordered one of these too. Last night I got confirmation that my order is on its way.

This is the dumb a$$ part. I was so happy to find one that I ordered the one for a VFR...cutout for the Honda Emblem and all. Last night though I realized I ordered one for a 5th Gen VFR and I own a 6th gen.

So if anyone wants a CF Yoke protector brand new just like the add shows, PM me.

From what I get from this email, is that we with VTEC's will still be out of luck for a yoke protector. The seller must of been shocked with all the "Buy it Now's" in such a short time. There were about 8 - 10 names who the email was also sent out too.

So. . . that one does fit the 6th gen. I thought it looked like it would. Looks good. Thanks for the pic adamf18.
#25
Nice Pic! Thanks! Looks like a decent fit to me. Maybe a little overhang on the top? Not bad though. I'll take one!
#26
I paid on the 11th and got the email on the 17th. (6 days later). So now waiting for his response or refund. Hope he's a little qicker with that!

I too checked what I had purchassed and it said,

" You are bidding on a brand new TRIPLE TREE COVER.

To fit Honda VFR800 2002-2005.

Superior resin-based Key-Guard with lacquer-like finish."

Picture looks like it would fit on our bikes too, so hopefully no problems.

Well after looking at yours and the picture for the one I ordered it appears they are the same. I guess I will have to wait and see if it will fit.

Thanks for the pic!

Mines got to come all the way to OZ. I just hope he's legit.

He's already got my money.

I too got the same message from Simon. I ordered the one listed for the 98-01 VFR. He either has screwed up the years or oversold.
#30
I sure hope you guys get what you ordered. That cover is sweet. And Scootr, no need for the oil, just bring that picture you taked about to Laguna Seca. :goofy:
