I must be a dolt, but...

Okay, so I've had my beautiful new Laser system neatly packed away waiting for the time (and temperature) to get to work on the install, and I've finally been able to start.

So far, I've only removed the bracket that holds the stock system to the Cat (and broken one of the bolts), and I'm ready or not to undo the top brackets and yank it off?

I feel like I need to remove the rear fairing, but can't fer' the life 'o me find any instructions ANYWHERE!! Are they simple to remove?

Oh yeah, Ronayers.com. Dolt. Awright, I guess that looks relatively simple. I'll go pull those 4 allen bolts and see whut happens. :music:

You don't have to remove the rear fairing to remove the stock exhaust. :joystick:

So yeah, that was pretty easy. The fairing and rear lighting cluster is all one piece and, once you undo those 4 allen bolts and unclip the rear lights, it all comes right off.

The rear fender came off easily as well with 6 bolts (four under-seat and 2 underneath). I'm definitely no pro DIY guy, but I've had no trouble so far. Stock exhaust is off and the Lasers will go on later this week!

Been there done that with an RC wing that took 2 months to build. :pissed: I now use the same place.

Not to worry, I've got the assembly safely perched on the top shelf of a sturdy storage rack, out of harms way! (until I drop it on the way back down)
