I am going to bite the bullet and shell out the cash for the pipes. I love the way they look and imagine they sound great!
The reseller here in Toronto, Mcbride's cycle has none in stock and tell me it will take several months to get them at a price of $1217.00CAD...... :o
FosterRAD says they can get me a set for $770.00US in 3-4days, plus $52US for shipping.
I was wondering if anyone here in Canada has had any different experience with getting these pipes? Has anyone purchased from FosterRAD, experiences good bad?
Forest rad customer service is very good. They work very hard with you. I just tried to install my lasers over the weekend and they gave me all kinds of trouble. Aparently there was a bad collector pipe that doesn't line up just right. Look under mods, under exhaust for my write up. Good luck
Thanks for the info adamf18. It sounds like you're not the only one with installation problems, there was another post recently mentioning alot of tinkering required to make things work. It's making me think twice about this.

Lasers are still the best looking set of pipes for a VFR. I just fit problems, plus I couldn't get my Honda bag bracket to fit over the pipes. That was the biggest reason I returned them. They do take some tweaking. They sound nice withe sport insert, about the same as the staintunes.

Not sure about the different ones for the US and Canada, but they have second generation out now. The four pipes used to be about the same size but I could be wrong, now the the two top ones are smaller than the two bottom ones.
The gen 1 of the lasers used smaller upper pipes, but they had a bracket that was welded to the upper and lower for each side that also has the tab for the mounting.
Gen 2 you can now remove each pipe form the exhaust. Gen 1 the all LH or RH pipes were welded togather and meet at the "Y" connector. There is only two springs on the Gen 1 and about 6 or 10 for the Gen 2.
