So... what is your favorite exhaust? Not neccessarily the one ypou have fitted now but the one you'd like to have, OR do you just like the stock pipes?
Does Staintune get your blood running or Lasers? D&D or Micron? 2 Bros or Remus? Roo racing or Hindle?
..or are you just a stock lover like me.
I've prob missed a few makes but you get the idea.
Any of the underseat exhaust look sweet (but too expensive for me) Plus the leftside exit exhausts, Two brothers was the only one I knew of, but again not available for my bike anymore.
For a sixth gen VTEC I love my Remus GP carbon fiber pipes: weigh about 12 lbs less than OEM, sound deep and bassy w/out being too loud, they allow use of the OEM heat shield near your ankle, and not everyone has em. Carbon is cool to the touch and the look integrates with Asphalt (not slower) colored bikes. Installation was 10-15 minutes.
IMO Microns and Staintunes sound truly awesome ... but I didn't want polished (Staintunes) and I wanted to avoid Microns due to customer service concerns and the pipes seem a bit over-sized. The OEMs are just too quiet, too Honda Prelude-like at idle and low RPM. The rumble of a piped V-4 is not to miss.

I have the Micron high-mount on my fifth-gen and love it. You also keep the passenger footpegs. It has a very deep rumble and the fit and finish is excellent. As far as the customer service isssues, I did not see that at all. I was missing one of the clamps and called to tell them. I said it was no big deal and was probably just going to use the springs anyway, but they overnighted the clamp and an apology. I also got a good deal of info from them before I purchased it, along with the Hyperpro springs, as it is the same company that imports them to the States.

but it's really hard to fault JTwolfs philosophy.....i ran the bored out baffle stock pipes for a while before i bought my pipes. People need to have Sound!
me not likey the lasers after seeing them in person...i felt they were to much in the way of pipes back there....if they were able to be tucked in better like on a MvAgusta id change my mind....sorry twistedgrip.....i just didnt like them :(
Remus for me too. Took off the 2 Bros from my 2000 VFR and put on the Remus, quality just oozes from it. Replaced the Staintunes from my VTR with Remus too - CF of course.
