VFR Discussion Group -> scorpion slip on exhaust?

I am considering purchasing scorpion's stainless slip on exhaust and was wondering if the heat generated from these is excessive compared to the O.E.M. pipes since the heat shields are not retained.

I've never had any problems with mine but I avoid touching the pipes for at least 10 minutes after I shut it off.
Never had a problem with excessive heat from the mufflers or the pipe.
Buy 'em, they kick ass! :D
