VFR Discussion Group -> Blue Flame

I remember reading a post a while back for Blue flame exhaust and they seemed like a good quality product but a believe at the time they were made in england and hard to get over here. They have a new websight Clickey. The vtec is not listed on the sight but I emailed them and they told me they do make a set for the 6th gen and its the same price as the RC51 pipes. The new evo model looks great and has tunable baffles to boot!! :wheel:

The question now is who's going to be the first to buy them. They are really nice looking pipes and competitively priced too. Well? :unsure:

Thanks for all the quick responses. Has anyone out there had any experience with the BlueFlame Carbon EVO3 exhaust (or other exhaust)? In a high mount configuration for the 2002 and above VFR800s?

They show some dyno charts with a 6HP gain (even though its a generic chart).

They are pretty pricey at 1159 (not sure if that is for a pair or just one).

So after some research, Blue flame doesn't offer the EVO3 version of their pipe for the VFR (which would have cost over 1200 anyway). So it is down to the Erion cans ($650) or the Micron CF ovals (even though they are almost $900!). I think the red CF look pretty nice although I have started down the black CF path. As soon as i get them I'll post some picks.

Anyone had any good or bad experiences with either the Micron pipes or the Erion cans?

Any sound clips available?

I had a Carbon Micron Slip-on on my 954 and I sounded great. Deep (For an inline 4) and not too lound. Also the carbon fiber looked to be of a better quality than some of the other brands I've seen.

Also when I email blue flame about there prices/availability for the vtec I specifically asked about the evo3 model. The reponse I get stated they did have it available for the same price as the RC51 pipes.
