Well I've decided to step-up and get some Remus pipes :thumbsup: !

I am going to try to install them my self thanks to AZViffer's kick-ass manual.

The only question I have is, will I need to do any additional adjustment to the bike after I install them?

Yeah, it might be possible that you'll need a new fuel injection map. Power Commander or similar. Prepare another $ 350.00 ...

Based on my experience, you may WANT to fiddle with the injection, but you certainly don't NEED to. My '03 runs fine with the CF Remus GP pipes and no other fuel or air performance mods (unles you count '02 elims). Beautiful pipes with a mellow, but deep note.

It's good to know that your 03 runs great without.

If I decide to add the power commander, whats all involved to install?

I can't wait until my bike makes the low notes! :music:

I've had the Remus for about 12K miles. If you're not blown away by the sound at first just be patient, after they break in they sound better and better.

PowerCommander couldn't be any easier to install. It just plugs inline with your fuel injection module's wiring harness. It helps if you havea notebook computer too.
