Has anyone tried carrying Cortech Tourmaster Saddle bags with Staintune exhaust on a 2002 or newer VFR. I'm using this luggage with stock exhaust and it works great.

I'm thinking that I could make a little heat shield if I had to for the Staintunes

I think you'll run into problems without *something* in between. Some guys even had problems with the stock mufflers.

I had to put foil tape to help keep the heat off. Sorta worked untill it rubbed a little on my staintune and left a little wear spot. They don't carry much either. Bought the honda hard bags, worth the money.
