VFR Discussion Group -> Micron high mount black to red anodized

I am considering getting the Micron high mount for my Red 98 VFR. I was wondering how the color matches the bike and if any of you have the red anodized installed. If not how does the solid black look or the aluminum.

I have read the posts about micron and their problems so I'm a bit hesitant but I think it's the best looking and affordable pipe that retains the rear pegs.

Also, I'll be cutting loose my Yoshimura RS3 Titanium Slip-on.

Hey Ripley - I have the carbon fiber high mount on my 98 and after 2+ years of thrashing it hasn't given me any guff whatsoever. It provides plenty of clearance for the pegs, I haven't roasted any passenger legs and the sound is nothing short of awesome! I considered the ano fade but opted for the solid carbon look - black ano would be cool too. I saw a Micron with the ano fade on another bike and I was unimpressed. I think the cool factor would wear off after awhile...
