VFR Discussion Group -> A BIG Thankyou to VFRD

I have chosen to sell my 95 VFR. Its not about the product. I know I had the best M/C I could afford. I'm just done with Motorcycles.
Anyway I REALLY had more fun cleaning, adjusting, and spiffing her up than riding. Sure nailing the line through a turn and powering out is probably one of the coolest things I have ever done. But I really needed a riding mentor to coach me on technique. Unfortunately that's tough to get from a discussion board.
That said The guidance I got from countless individual on VFRD will always make this a very special place to visit. I thank you for the advice the jokes and the support. If anyone is in the New Market, MD. area and needs a helping hand. track me down I'm in the book.

I also hope that you adjust well from your decision. You could always try a few track days at an experienced riding school to get the technique or mentoring. Also, perhaps there are some bike clubs in your area that have some mentors too.

There are always ways to improve your technique and learning, but I understand that motorcycling may also not be for everyone as we are all different.

Again,....sorry to hear it Splat. You'll be missed,...our 4th gen ranks are thinning! I can understand though. Today on the freeway I witnessed a 4 car crash just ahead of me,.....if I had left the house a second or two sooner,.....I'd be toast.
