First time VFR owner - 96 and proud to say the least. I have a frustration in that with the 2 Bros. left side exhaust, I have lost both the center stand and passenger pegs due to previous owner decisions.
I've searched extensively on-line and even called 2 Bros direct for a solution to no avail. I can do without the center stand, but am truly determined to find a passenger peg solution. Am I doomed to replace the exhaust? I really like the C5 sound and look.
If you want to sell the exhaust please let me know.... smile.gif
I think that with some carfull massaging and a good pipe bender you could solve it!! Spare pegs from a wrekers should be ok as well - not exactly a stressed part...

I'll swap my tb's right side exit for a left......... even give you my passenger pegs too.
How is it that the left side exhaust doesn't allow for the use of a passenger peg? Is it mounted too high? I've got a 91 with the left side pipe and I've still got my passenger pegs, it is a kerker though (which makes the bike sound like a nascar) but it looks pretty sweet in my opinion. However, perhaps if the reason it doesn't have a passenger peg on that side is because of hte mount you could get some pegs off of the 90-93 if they will fit, because they have a mount point on both sides of the bike, and the peg there as well.

Bingo. I have a TBR lefty "high-mount" on my '94. No passenger pegs or center stand, but it does show off the SSSA nicely, as you can see in my avatar smile.gif

PS. FWIW, I am also thinking of switching back to a right-side exhaust that allows for passenger pegs and a center stand. I already have a single-rider/track/twisties bike. I need a practical, two-up ST. But, one money pit at a time! wink.gif
I have seen some peg mount extenders that work with high mount exhausts, i.e. they move the peg outside of the exhaust. I don't know if the exist for the VFR but if you get a look at one having a mchinist whip them up should only cost a few bucks.

Those were the first items that I removed from my 02. Just get a swing arm stand and be done with it wheel.gif

"Pit bull" stands has built up a good reputation for making good stands for SSS'd bikes. I always wondered though why they never made a high left side exhaust (though the one shown on your avatar looks nice and high on the left side of your bike) for the VFRs. The ones I mostly see out there, hang pretty low and a little out on the left side. I guess it's because of clearance issues with the big SS swingarm on that side. I would have considered the getting the lefty pipes if they made a better tucked in, high mount version. Honda's solution with the RC30 and 45 was to put an ugly pinch on the pipe as it crosses out from under the swingarm, before the exhaust canister. I'm fine with my high right Staintune fing02.gif , it shows off enough of the rear wheel and I can take the wheel off the bike without touching the pipe. This cancels most of the justification for getting the lefty pipes.....at least, for me, that is. JMO
