K&N Cleaning Question

When re-oiling a K&N air filter, the instructions say to spray each pleat with the oil. Is that for one side only or both sides?

If I remember correctly, you only want to spray the top side. you don't really want to suck in more oil then necessary.

One side. Lightly. Let it soak and spread. Lightly again. Let it soak. Mebbe again. You get the idea.....don't drench it.

Thanks guys. I'll spray the top side (dirty air side) only.
