I'm sold on the Scorpians...except

Let me say that it has been a while sence i have come here, so i forgot my Username and Password. dry.gif Anyway, I am sold on buying the Scorpian exhaust. I love the price and the incredible sound. I have 2 questions however. Round or Oval? Reason why i ask is because I take alot of trips and I have the hard Honda luggage bags. Will on style fit and not the other. This is a must before i order anything yet. Nay help would be great. Oh sorry, i have the 04 model.

Although they list oval cans for the VFR, round cans are all that are available unless they have added them the last month or two. I would have bought them instead of my Remus cans if they had offered ovals.

Somebody on VFRD got a response from Scorpion stating the round cans won't work with the Honda luggage mounting bracket. You will either have to fork out extra bucks for another brand's ovals, or swap your side bags for a top box coffin.

Thanks for the info. I am not suprised by the mounting brackets not fitting, only because by looking at peoples pictures, i cannot see how that bracket would wrap around the pipe. Thanks again.

Ok now for ANOTHER question. Does anyone have the hard Honda luggage for the 04 VFR and also have after market pipes. The Stain Tunes are just to expensive(rather buy an Xbox 360 and a nice sounding exhaust) smile.gif What about the Microns?

Try out the search feature on this site. You should be able to find a few threads regarding aftermarket pipes and oem hard bags.

Microns in a guess definitely won't work, they are very large in diameter and round.

yep, Microns are out of the question. I called them today and they said the Honda bags will not fit with there pipes.
