I have been looking but am having no luck. Does anyone know if any exhaust companies make a full system for the 5th gen? Also has anyone tried and tested a Hindle? Thanks

Well Erion racing used to have a full system but they don't make it any more. You can buy replacement header/collector sets from Motad and Predator too. They still allow you to keep whatever can you have right now - be it the OEM or an aftermarket can like a Staintune.

How long do the headers usually last on the 5th gen?

Very, very hard to find. I thought I had found a used full TBR system a couple of months ago from a salvage dealer for $350, but it was gone when I called. I think for no more than 1-2hp that a header would give, I am going to have mine painted with a titanium ceramic color by the pros for around $150 this winter.

Good choice. I have a TBR full system and there is literally no difference save for sound. Of course there is the full header tinkly type noise in the mornings when its cold...full systems for the VFR are a waste of time and energy. Take it from the guy who has one.

Slip-ons are the way to go for 98-01.
