I'm wondering how this would look on a VTEC?

Imagine a pair of these, if only you could get a left-side one that was a mirror-image of the right.

You know how Honda went with the 4 slanted outlets on the OE mufflers to remind you of the V-4 configuration?

I've been thinking the same thing for months. happy.gif I'm sure if you called up Yoshi, they sell/make you a mirrored slip-on, for a price of course.

I think they would look great and if someone wants to send me a pair of Tri-Ovals I would be happy to mount them on my bike for a test! tongue.gif
PS I already have the up-pipe in waiting!

Isn't that one of those magical floating up-pipes? I think Harry Potter has one installed on his broom! fing02.gif

Anyone know how to get ahold of just the pipe from Yosh? and how much they might be?

That up pipe looks like the Micron unit.

I suppose one could use those Yosh cans with it, just get a canister the approximate length of the Micron (or a bit shorter). If the Yosh hanger is the strap type (as Micron, Remus, etc.) no problem. If the hanger is integrated into the can you'd need to fabricate something to hang the canisters to the stock mounts.

Yosh should do it. They would look very cool IMO. And Yosh pipes are more widely available than some pipes (i.e. Remus, Staintune, Laser) and reasonably priced (sometimes).

The Tri-Oval CF muffler with Ti outlets is anything but cheap. blink.gif

I was also thinking it would look schweet on my bike in the same position as my Micron highmount, and of course, another on the LH side for balance.


Now if I just lived near someone I could trust to do a superbike-quality job on bending/welding custom Ti or Stainless pipe, then........
