Driggs - I don't have REmus - but I did Ask that question - and from what I recall - there is NO gasket - I think it is just a compression fit.
Depends on how tight the fit is. I have a 5th gen with a staintune, and there is no way that a gasket is going to fit between the collector and the midpipe. But if there is slop, you either need to use a gasket or use some high temp exhaust silicone. Install it with no gasket first and see if you have an exhaust leak, if you then have a leak, try putting some sealant in there and see if that stops it.
I've got the Remus - no gasket. It's been almost two years so I struggle to remember... but I think I put some super high-temp goo on there anyway.
The older they get the better they sound. I've got about 24K on mine now and they sound better than ever.
It doesn't have a gasket. Mine fit nice and the clamp sealed everything right up. I didn't need any "high temp goo" for mine. smile.gif

+1.gif Mine fit nice and snug without any "goo" as well.
