Peter, Sep 6 2006, 05:17 AMI can't say that red was my first choice of color, but in 97 that was it. So along with the new parts, I had the bike painted, and here is the result, rebuild and all.

Woot! That's a sweet looking bike. Well done.

That's sweet. If I get another VFR I think it'll be a 4th gen.

So, IIRC, the insurance Co. kept your bike after it was wrecked? sad.gif

hehe. It's doing pretty good, except for needing to do the damn exercises for strength. Lazy...

Yeah, they kept it. I could have bought it for $1800 and had it back on the road for $800, but there was this pesky problem with still owing $6500 after "full coverage" paid out. Gap insurance would have been nice. Sigh.

Hoping to get a bike next spring, maybe an R1150GS. Love the 1200, but $$$ and I'm never financing again.

How have you been?

I love my NACA'S, but it's kind of a pain to have to pull the small animals and birds out of them all the time where they get sucked in by the turbines......
