5th Gen with 14,000. Bone stock. 3rd Oil change last week. Waiting for new air filter from dealership. New battery November last year.
The bike is sometimes idleing low, right at 1000 rpm instead of the usually 1300, doesn't seem to be related to operating temp. I can sometimes induce stalling by revving the engine slightly and chopping throttle while in neutral. The power is definitely down, especially above 10k rpm. It stumbles when accelerating between 3-6.5k especially in first gear. The bike is also producing a faint burning smell of what I'm guessing is either rubber or wiring but is not coolant or oil.
I bought the bike in October last year from a dealership as a new bike. The dealership I'm taking it to, which is different than the one I bought it from, won't look at the bike until Friday. Unfortunately the bike is my only mode of transportation.
So...any ideas? R/R? ECM? Fuel filter? Cat? BTW I've gotten zero FI lights. The bike has overheated on my 4 times in the last year which was not solved by flushing the coolant system like I had hoped it would be.
