Apart from the things mentioned above, there's nothing specific to the VFR; all other things relate to age, maintenance or lack thereof, and how it's been treated. This includes things like bearings, dirty and/or worn carb components (needles can wear), waterpump seals, drivetrain, etc. Being a Honda, the gearbox may get a little clunky and missed gears and/or false neutrals may get more frequent with age/miles.
