Alright Ive been looking at RC45 Pictures, and was curious if ya'll could shed some light on the Frame similarities of the RC45 and the VFR750 idea3.gif . I was curious if i could take the RC45 Fairings and put them on the VFR wink.gif ? Will they line up, and install? Or am I going to have to do some fiberglassing and create new stays for the fairings?

veefer800canuck, Dec 21 2006, 03:16 PMThurn of Germany has some RC45 lookalike bodywork for a VFR:

I've seen that site a couple times now, and i don't see the actual body work, I see the Tail faring and single seat, and one piece tail. But no Front and side farings. Am I missing something?

Rob that's a VFR400.

Just remembered that I'd saved that Euro RC45 replica to my OzVFR gallery:

Haven't looked at the site. But if you can't source a replica upper fairing then the early CBR900RR upper looks a lot like the RC45. A bit of work with scrap ABS and Plastex and you'd be there.

OOps, didn't look that closely.... unsure.gif

Search string was RC45 so I figured it would be correct...... rolleyes.gif

I never really thought about doing the 900rr's farings, that would probably be easier and cheaper to do it that way, and it'll give the vfr a unique look. I'll look into that. Quick question off topic. How long are the the 4th gen vfr forks?

But you'll need to plug them shotgun pellet holes......

Well just use the 98-99 CBR900rr farings they dont have the shotgun pellet holes haha, but I dont like those either. Im sure you could easily customize those farings though
