I've heard rumor the HawkGT clip-ons can be used on the 3rd gen's without modifying the brake, clutch, throttle, and choke lines. I bought a set of clip-ons on Ebay last year, and was putting off using them when it looked like the lines weren't going to work without swapping for longer stuff. Now that my stock clip-on's are bent, I'd like to use the spares I have sitting in the garage. Anyone have experience doing this swap and successfully rerouting the stock lines to work?? I'd love to avoid buying longer SS lines (I just installed the current ones last year).
Sigh. As much as I'd like to figure out this problem, the right HawkGT clipon I have is bent. I never noticed it before until I had it mounted up to my forks. So now I have two sets of bars I can't use due to the right bar being bent: The stock VFR bars bent from the crash, and the stock HawkGT bars bent from the seller. Anyone got a good 41mm right side clipon? Stock VFR, stock HawkGT, or anything else that I can make work?
On the bright side, I've got the entire front end pulled apart, and everything else is straight and undamaged.

I didn't have any problems swapping just the clip-ons. I didn't have to change any lines, but mine is a '99 fifth generation.
