I dont know if its just me or if anyone else has the same problem this time of year...Even though i get to ride 200 miles i just cant seem to get enough riding in to get my fix...I really hate winter and the cold/short days...What do you guys/gals do to keep from going nuts in the winter?
There is two feet of snow on my front lawn, so...maintenance, maintenance, maintenance, was up till 10 last night in the garage putsying with the bike, and I'm pretty sure I can keep myself busy till spring, funny how one thing keeps leading to another when the bike is ripped apart.
I wish i could ride to work..I am a selfemployed contractor and it would be hard to haul lumber on the VFR... I ride every chance i get but it still dont seem to be enough...In 2007 i plan on riding more than 2006 so maybe i can rack up 15,000 miles in 2007...
In 2006 the wife and i traveled all over /kentucky/missouri/illinois/indiana/ and some of tennesee..We never had a route plotted we just went and when we came to a T in the road we just picked left or right and went..Now thats how to ride and find those little hidden places and towns that have been forgotten since the major interstates were built..
I hope to meet some of the members in person some day , maybe this summer we will make it to a meet..
