I'm replacing my toasted RR with a new Ricks unit and need new mounting bolts as the originals are not long enough to fit the Ricks mounting tabs. Top bolt is a standard flange head 6mm bolt but bottom bolt comes through from inside the sub-frame and remains in place after nut removal. Anyone know what holds this stud in place?
Isn't it welded in place? While not ideal, I used loctite on the lower one, I wish I had a few more threads engaged, but it's holding just fine so far. (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/fing02.gif)

Indeed it is my friend. Ended up drilling the bugger out. Thanks for the info.
