Euro Vs Us

Has there been a thread on what the Euro 5th gens have that the US models don't? If so, please post a link. I've not been able to find it.

If not, let's discuss.

Here is what I have learned recently...

The right side switchpod has an on/off switch for the headlight.
There is an optional Honda heated grip unit that plugs directly into the harness.
There is an optional GPS nav system.

Does anyone else have anything to add?

Flash to pass button on the left side switch pod which flashes the high beam.

I believe the 5th gen have them as well.

You are correct, 5th gens come in Yellow, green, red, black, silver, blue, a multi color red/silver combo, and white in Japan( police).

There was a dark and a lighter green, arctic blue and another shade of blue, flat black and flaked. I have seen several repsol 5th gens, but I am not sure this was an original factory paint scheme.

I think the best colors for a fifth gen are yellow, arctic blue and dark green.

Mind you, a new ABS equipped VFR will work out at $19k OTR.....
Yeah we pay a lot in tax etc, but we got national health insurance and I have about 30~33 days paid holiday a year.

My 4th gen also has that the on/off light switch and high beam flasher (BTW 1994 WAS a good year for good flashing looking girls during Daytona Bike week fing02.gif ). Posting picures will light up my warning bar.

And Canuck, not all american (nor canadian) girls are huge, I can vouch for a few..... tongue.gif

Never seen two different colours of green Dark Forest Green is the only one I know of, ditto for the Blue - only ever seen one Blue colour.




EDIT : Seen two different greens on different generations also different blues on different generations ..
in that case, there was also a turquoise 4th gen colour....

I don't think we get the emissions control gubbins in the engine which are required in the US (and Oz?). Not sure it makes any difference to performance.
