I'm almost certain the mudguard (fender) will fit. I understand the plastics are able to fit but on an "either or" basis - none of the parts can be used in conjunction with the standard parts from the other Gen.

I don't think anything will bolt right on. An OzVFR member Rob has one of each and he's never mentioned that anything is compatible (his 3rd Gen is basically a trackbike which has been for a few slides, if he'd been able to bolt the 4th Gen bits on we would have heard about it). I'll drop him an email to see.

The rear light, all four indicators and the mirrors are probably about all that can be swapped over. I *think* they share the same headlight, I'll ask Rob about that too.

Edit: Rod posted while I was writing this - he's correct, the fender will fit. And I can also advise that the 1st/2nd Gen fender will fit 3rd/4th (and probably 5th) Gen; it's bigger than the 3rd/4th Gen guard and looks pretty good on.

headlight, mirrors, levers, rearset are all compatible.
