Blowing Fuses

I have blown 3 fuses in about 3 weeks, and was wondering if anyone has had a similar issue. it has been a different fuse each time, once the FI Pump, once the Tip Sensor and the other i don't remember. Any ideas?

The only answer is that there is an electrical short somewhere. It's likely to be some place where all the things are in the same piece of wiring loom, and where they are subject to bending or abrasion. I'd start looking around the rear of the tank, where the main wiring harness branches off to the various items. Then check by the steering head, which is the most common place for wires or the insulation to get broken.

The strange thing is that the fuel pump lives in the tank, the tip sensor's behind the instrument panel, so they're not exactly close to one another.

I had an exposed wire that was shorting on the seat frame although it was blowing the same fuse over and over.

i had a kinked wire blowing my turn signal and laillamp fuse. i just unkinked it.

use the force ..!!!!

just messing with ya... sounds like you may have overheated your harness at one point.. the plastic wire covers can melt and expose the wires to eachother and thern the buzz off the bike makes them touch..
i always gound the green wire, on the harness, in more that one spot..3 or 4 is best..

Check the tail light wiring. Mine wore down and started browing multiple fuses. Once fixed probrem solved.
