Sorry for the shamless plug, just wanted to make sure the enthusiasts here got wind of this before I try to sell elsewhere.

I just wish you were located on the East coast. Pics look great

If you knew Arik, you'd know that this bike is worth shipping (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/fing02.gif) .

I haven't met many other riders who are as fastidious, knowledgable, or just plain fast as he is.

I can't believe you're selling it though, after all the work.... (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/blink.gif)

Well, I give up a little in comfort for a lot more performance two tripmeters and a clock going from the VFR to the GSX-R. So in that regard I have two bikes that are kinda doing the same thing when I can have another that does something else.

I mentioned getting a different bike for commuting and two up in the sale thread, but I've been wanting to get back into dirt, so the proceeds from selling the VFR will likely go in that direction instead. Those guys over at BTE are just having to much fun on those dirt rides, and I can't take missing out anymore.

Hobie,

Buy it. Fly out there, and drive back via the southern route. You can stop in Dallas and spend the night at my place. Other vifferisti will be glad to let you camp on the floor across the way. Great 3 day trip.

No doubt this bike would make it cross country without even breaking a sweat.

Man I wish you were closer to the east coast. I've got an 01 XR650L that is just burning a whole in my pocket (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/goofy.gif)

Great looking bike Tyrm, probably the best looking 3rd gen I've seen.
