Also available in the stores in 2 packs, but the box is the better deal. It was a special order, but delivered in about a day.

actually i cant find them on their website, dont think they have a catalogue. Does anyone know where i could purchase them online. I'm pretty sure i saw a link to them about a yr ago but cant find it

Damn! And I paid $2.65 on bikebandit.com for these. I bought a bunch thinking i'd need some in the future. Someone should buy the box and sell them on ebay to the rest of us.

Fastner warehouse can 100 for 19.20. Theres even a note on the link above that says they work on VFR's.

In the past I have found certain cars in my junkyard(salvage yard) that had pins and fittings that worked on various bikes. Sometime you might take a stroll in one with a VFR pin in hand and find a match. If you know specifically what you are looking for, most all the automotive pins can be purchased new in bulk rather cheaply. Some are, by design, easier to use/ re-use and remove....... I bought a pack of the fasteners from the Fastenerwharehouse.com. Only problem is they have slightly larger diameter but that is easigly fixed by drilling the holes ever so slightly. I have 100 in the bag so if anyone wants some let me know.

I want some of those fasteners. Maybe 20-30 should last the VFR for a lifetime.

what a mistake! they are huge and do not fit a factory size hole. the picture of the fastner appears to be the push-in to release type, but they are not. if i can't find anything else to use them for i'll throw them away! at least they were cheap "each". (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/mad.gif)
If anyone wants some send me a pm with your address. Hopefully I will be able to send out 10 to 15 in an envelope for just a stamp or two. 3 to 4 bucks ought to cover it.
Used some similar to those on my bike today - (a little different but the top is the same) not exactly sure of the size but they were a little bigger than the Honda ones....I just used a short (ie: I broke one in half) rat tail file to enlarge the holes just a hair and they work perfect - the bonus: they look better than the stock VFR clips
