I bought a 1995 VFR750 that has some beat up plastic and I'm looking to replace it. I have looked all through this site and found out that there are two options air-techstreamlining and Thurn-motorsport. I just wanted to see if anyone has used either of these fairings and if any one has some recommendations for me. I like the lower fairing from airtech but the upper fairing is a race fairing without the headlight section cut out. Let me know if there is anyone here that can help me make up my mind on what company to go with. Will the 5th gen body fit on an older 4th gen?

Jay, Welcome to the forum for starters. You will find that this site is a very civilized, mature group of people(well....most of the time).
The thurn products are just costly to buy since they are coming from across the world. The Airtech stuff is very light with just a couple layers of fiberglass and some gelcoat, which makes for an inexpensive and lightweight and fairly cheap alternative to the factory plastic. Everything is a compromise. Some complain about the Airtechy being flimsy but it's just a body panel which will get dinged up in a tip over of crash. I found 6 sites recently that offered body kits but they were for all the "popular" bikes. GSXR's, CBR600's, R6's, etc. Choices are limited for VFR's. I am looking at the Airtech fairings too and it looks as if the headlight openings would be easy to take the factory fairing and place in front of the Airtech piece and trace the opening and then cut out the fiberglas.
