I want the least expensive fairing bolts/screws possible.

There's outfits on EBAY all the time selling stainless steel domed head fastener kits for fairings on several different makes and models, VFRs included.
Have a looky, I've never bought the EBAY SS bolt kits myself, but I do see them all the time.
the best option may be going to the home depot.. llok in the book for what bolts you need then shoping...
