I wonder to what length this poster went to in an attempt to remain anonymous.

Slammer could probably tell the IP address the post came from and definitely could cross-reference the email address to those of other members.

Of course it's not too hard to get email addresses which have no link to you and routing your internet traffic through proxy servers and such isn't difficult either.
