Just a quick update on my 929 shock: When my shock showed up yesterday in UPS with a frozen rebound adjuster, I was kinda bummed. I politely emailed the seller regarding the problem last night, hoping for the best. Although I'll be out of town on business this weekend, I was anticipating installing the shock one day next week and going for a ride. Those plans probably still won't come to pass, but I felt a bit better when received a very nice email from the seller this morning!

I'll spare you all the details, but suffice to say the seller was totally professional and understanding. He apologized for any inconvenience, and said he would be sending out a replacement shock that he personally inspected today. Furthermore, he told me to keep the first one as a spare! I replied that I would be happy to send the first one back, but he declined.

So far so good, and great customer service. I won't name the company here (if this is allowed I'll edit the post), but if you want to know of a honest used parts seller on eprey, please PM me.

I'll keep you all posted! The shock update WILL HAPPEN!!!

Cheers!

Please do name the name. I'm sure they will be happy about it.

I name names all the time.

California Sport Touring
Sonic Springs
Sprocket Center
Jamie Daughtery (he "claims" that he is just out to help, but helps like he was getting paid (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/fing02.gif) )

But, on Ebay, I try to buy from private sellers. I need a new junkyard. (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/rolleyes.gif)

I'll give a rousing 2nd to Jamie. I have used him for service and he still works deals on additional work to reduce the price, and he is comparatively cheap in the first place.
