So, can anyone tell me the secret to pulling the connector off of the low beam bulbs? I can reach in and grab the connector without taking any panels off, but when I pull, nothing happens other then I see the bulb pulling back towrd me and feel it straining against the retention spring. I'm concerned that if I keep pulling, I'm going to break something.

Should I just be less of a girly-man and just really yank, or is there some trick to it?

Thanks

Grab the connector on both sides and pinch hard. While pinching pull off.

I had the same issue.

Good luck.

Hey, My buddy just bought his first bike (Triumph Thruxton from Motoprimo). I'm probably riding up there this summer.

There are two slightly springy plastic bits on the side of the plug that you are trying to pull off.

"Basically" the top is a rectangle, well with your thumb and forefinger pinch in the two short sides down the shaft of the plug.

You should feel them move in together slightly... but it is a tight fit, so you do need to pull fairly hard.

Don't just pull, wiggle it as you pull.
Not your bum, just the plug and stick your tongue back in!
