Hello my fellow riders. I am looking to replace my sold crashed 00VFR with another bike. I found this one at a local dealer for $5058 out the door. It is pretty clean with just a few scratches here and there. It has fresh tires on it and a Leo Vance High mount pipe with only 8500 miles and a new battery. I was also thinking of a 2007 Sprint ST but I dont know if I want to shell out 12,000. I know:) I am a Honda guy myself with 4 VFRs and three different generations in the past 10years. This seem like a good deal since I bought my last one with about the same milage for 4800. I would love to sit back and wait but in N.J. the weather should be breaking soon and I have been looking hard for three weeks now and there seems to be a shortfall of bikes that interest me around my area. So i guess the question is should I go for it???[image: gallery_347_2718_15058.jpg]

The 2000 and 2001 model years are the best VFR's ever built, IMHO.

Do it...quickly!

This bike would have already been in my garage if I were you. So YES, snap that bad boy up.

1999 is THE BEST year, the only thing better about the 2000-1 is the mirrors. Its easier to buy mirrors than a catless exhaust system. biggrin.gif

Thanks for the feedback, I sold my crash vfr 3 weeks ago and I do not have any spare parts.

:)
I would definately get the Viffer.
The price could be a bit lower IMHO (I paid 4300 for my 02...), but it definately beats the 12K for the Sprint. HERE is a good discussion on the same topic. This should point you in the right direction - Away from Sprint.
And go to the dealer ASAP, before the weather turns - this way you have a chance to bargin.
