Mine wasn't working anymore for some reason and my buddy had an extra one from his 1000rr that we threw on there. Is this alright? Don't want to hurt anything.

Did it stick? LOL. Been running a gixxer on my superhawk which shares the same r/r as the 4th gen for the last couple of years . The 1000rr will have a few more wires than the 4th gen but if you got 'em right you should have no worries.

Yeah we took a long time to make sure we got all the wires right. K so it sounds like it'll be good. Thanks.

Good. Now your next step is to wire in a voltmeter so you can monitor it. Great piece of mind.
