ok, i have a kind of strange question.

im looking to find out how many times the coils fire for one revolution per the crankshaft. basically, im looking to find out if number 1 fires once per revolution or twice.

i need to know this for figuring out a trigger for my fuel injection setup, being as i am not running carbs and i dont have an 800.

my theory is that all 4 coils fire once every revolution in wasted spark configuration, but im not sure.

If you had only 2 coils, then I would say for sure that you have the wasted spark system.

I also think that you wanted to say: once every revolution or once every second revolution.

well, my theory is that piston #1 will fire at top dead center (not taking in account for timing) on the exhaust stroke AND the power stroke. it would almost have to, being as the ignition module doesn't have any way of knowing if its power or exhaust. there is no cam sensor, hence it would almost have to fire this way. can anyone confirm this?

i have 4 ignition coils, btw.

The VFR750 does indeed fire each plug on every revolution, so you are in business.
