Ok so the last coat of clear went on the girl tonight. Going to wait 2 days to make sure the everything is good and cured. The start putting her back togeather. So whats been done. Well i'll tell you new subframe, front stay, staintune hight mount, zero gravity windshield, custom seat cover, powdercoated rims and rear hangers, pegs, front pegs,DID NOT go with the Nitrous after all. Powdercoated the gas cap as well, red led underglow kit. I am probaly forgetting something but its late. Once it is done I will love to post a pic but am unable to. I have tryed post pics on the site and can't, maybe I need a photo host first or something. Any ways if I can't maybe I can e-mail some pics to Radar or kanadian Ken, to post for me. Snakeman
Thanks Matt I'll send you the finished pics in a few days once she is all put togeather. P.S. One more thing I forgot i did: spider hand grips. Snakeman
Ok one question guys. Is it worth it to sell my old parts or not. An example is when disasembling the front cowl the headlight was dropped and a mounting tab was broke off and a few cracks on the backside. With some plastic weld it would be ok but I did not want to due that so i got a new one. The cowl got a crack and the signal area has had a piece break away so again i bought a new one. Would something like these be sellable or not? I don't want to look like I'm ripping anyone off but at the same time if someone could use them along with the other stuff why not. Snakeman

People will buy anything...plus it might be better than theres. You will need to take good pictures so they know what the are getting. I suggest you get a free account at www.photobucket.com . Super easy to upload pictures and with just a click you can copy and paste picture right into your replies. Brian
Snakeman, Mar 30 2007, 10:46 PMOk, thanks I guess I will do that tomorrow then and see what happens. Snakeman
Seeing if the picture thing works.
Ok I can upload a pic to my gallery but can not get it to my post here. Now remember I am the last of the computer dummies. so I really do not not no how to do alot.
4. right click on the full size picture & select properties.
5. copy the whoooooole name of the picture into the clipboard.
6. now go the post you want to make.
7. when you want to add the picture, click on the add image icon (right of the smilie)
8. a text box will open - paste the clipboard into the text box. this is a little tricky....make sure the letters that are in the textbox when it opens are gone. all you want to paste in the box is ONLY what you copied.
9. hit [ok]...whatever. text will be added to your post. click on preview to see if you can see the picture.
this took me a few tries to get right...on a few different sites. it gets easier if you use multiple windows for multiple pictures - the cut & paste goes faster. may want to start with one at a time.
good luck! looking forward to seeing your finished bike........
Or, after uploading the pictures to your gallery, when you want to post them in a thread, just look for the icon underneath the post window that looks like a little camera with the words 'Gallery Post Tool' next to it and click that, then follow the trail of breadcrumbs......

Ok so a while back I got a little premature with my excitment. Yes the last coat of clear went on that night. In the morning a whirlwind of S*&^ happened. Somehow paint thinner and a stripper of some kind fell or spilt on my beast. Thats right you guest it DAMAGE. So new parts have shown up ( new tail and cowl, as well as left side fairing. The prep work started today and she will be painted next week. I leave on tour with my show tomorrow and am not back untill May 6th. It is going to kill me not being here for paint and putting her back togeather But I will have her ready when I do get back I guess. So I PROMISE WHEN I COME HOME I WILL TAKE PICTURES GALORE AND POST THEM..... I SWEAR! Snakeman
Ya that what I said too. It turns out that his two cats got in or left in the shop that night. I don't know but I guess all that it has cost me is riding time, oh wait can't even ride there is a spring storm here in Alberta, Canada and we have about 7 inches of new snow on the ground. Anyone in Cali or Florida want a roommate? Snakeman
