'00 Throttle Cable Question

Encountered a problem with the throttle the other day on my '00 while doing a parking lot speed, full lock left hand turn. I noticed that when I had the bars turned fully counterclockwise, the throttle cable sticks and I can't turn the throttle. I'd never noticed this before. When I did a close inspection I saw that when in the full, counterclockwise position, the left fork tube puts a pretty severe kink in the throttle cables just past where they emerge from the gray plastic.

Has anybody noticed the above? I installed helibars last year exactly per instructions (cables behind right fork) but I don't see how that would cause this problem.

sounds like a routing issue... take it off and reroute it till it doesnt bind at all from lock to lock, that is potentially very dangerous.

I posted a possible solution in your other thread. If the bars are not installed right, the throttle cables are too short no matter how you route them... Good luck.
